Mandated evaluations · Pennsylvania

Drug and alcohol evaluations, done with you.

For court, probation, an attorney, an employer, or your own peace of mind. Over three to four meetings, an evaluator gets to know you and your whole situation. In person in Lancaster, Harrisburg, and Gettysburg, or online anywhere in Pennsylvania.

You see it first. You decide if or where it goes.

Who it's for

Anyone who needs, or wants, a professional drug and alcohol evaluation:

  • Court-ordered
  • Probation or parole
  • Attorney-requested
  • Employer or licensing
  • Family concern
  • Getting ahead of it on your own

If someone requested your evaluation, check with them that ours will meet their requirements. We welcome those calls directly.

How it works

  1. Call to schedule. A short, confidential conversation about what you need and when it's due.
  2. Three to four meetings. Your evaluator learns about you, your history, and the situation that brought you here.
  3. A final review with you. We go over the recommendations together before anything is written in stone.
  4. Your letter. The letter comes to you. You decide if, and where, it goes.

An independent evaluation

New Footing is an in-between place. We don't run programs and we aren't part of a larger system, so we have no reason to steer you anywhere. Some substance use is a real problem; some is not. Our job is an honest, accurate picture either way.

Recommendations may be counseling, services elsewhere, or nothing further. What happens next is your choice. No referral fees are paid or received.
